After an article was published on my Grandmother Virginia Gates in the Seattle times referring to a salad from the whitehouse used during the Lincoln and Grant administration that was in her possetion. The article refers to her Great Aunt Julia Wilbur and her geneology researchin the late 1800's. The president of the Seattle Geneological Society contacted her on a hope that he may find a common ancestor to help him on his own family research. He returned a copy of the results of his research to her and I have a photo copy of therse documents in my possetion.
